Making breakfast!

Somehow, we were allowed to sleep in until 7:30 today. When I came downstairs,  D had made her own toast and buttered it too! First time she's made her own breakfast!

Bad Dream

Delaney woke me up in the middle of the night on the monitor. She was calling for Daddy and saying she had a bad dream. I went in and talked to her and asked what happened in her bad dream.

"We went to the movies and they were all out of popcorn so we had to have cotton candy instead."

Yikes! That is a bad dream!

Dance recital dress rehearsal!!

Delaney had her dress rehearsal tonight and did so well! I'm so proud of her! When she was sitting with one of the other lottle girls, that little girl said she was scared to go on stage. Delaney told her to not be scared, it will be fun!

Oh my!

Mom - Lions and tigers and bears, oh my!
Delaney - Mom, what kind of animals are "oh my's"?

In the Car

Delaney - Can you open the windows dad?
Brent - Then we won't be able to talk.
Delaney - That's ok. I don't have anything else to say.

Obsessed with shorts!

Delaney is obsessed with wearing shorts because Josephine wears shorts. Doesn't matter if it's 50 and windy!

Zayn

Alison: Delaney didn't even know what to do about Zayn leaving One Direction.

Delaney: Uh, I don't even know what that means!
